Indians Trade Rumors Were Just That-Or Were They?

 

I love the kid in this picture. It’s as if he is looking off into the distance, waiting for the Indians to pull of that big move that will spearhead the run to the World Series. Well, he and every other Tribe fan on the planet is now sitting in stunned silence. It turns out all of the Indians trade rumors were just that-rumors. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be excited.

Not Time To Wave Baker Mayfield Flag

 

It’s the second day of training camp and the Browns quarterbacks are in the far corner of the practice facility. They’re tucked away from most of the crowd, lining up on the goal line, and attempting to toss footballs into a garbage can in the back corner of the end zone. There weren’t many people watching, but I was, and it did not take long for Baker Mayfield to steal the show.

Indians First Baseman Edwin Encarnacion can hit. He is a home run hitter. But as big and strong as he is, he still needs protection. All you have to do is look at last year’s stats and a move the Tribe made in August to prove it.

Greg Williams Gets It

I got the chance to attend Cleveland Browns training camp the other day. It was fun. I’ve attended Browns training camp in the past, but this one was different.  Partly because I got the chance to talk to Browns Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams for a few minutes. What he told me would make any Browns fan feel really good about the upcoming season.

LeBron Only Came Back to Save His Brand

 

I never felt the urge to write a letter to the editor. But in the first couple of weeks after LeBron left Cleveland (again), I got the urge. I was listening to sports radio and my coworkers’ takes. I kept hearing people thanking him for coming back and “getting us a championship.” But I don’t see it that way.
